Hello Ghost: 5 Stars

Korean comedian, Cha Tae-Hyun, is hitting Singapore's cinema! For people who are crazy over korean celebrities, perhaps you might know him (though he's married!). His movies never fail to make one's feel as though his stomach's gonna rupture due to too much laughing!
Hello Ghost (Kai xin gui shang shen) has been on cinema for quite a while but is in fact a 2010 film. It depicts how a depressed orphan failed his suicide attempt, started seeing ghosts and eventually found warmth in his ghost family. Just watch how the four ghosts disrupt his life, causing so much mayhem and then making him realised that he's actually never alone!
This touching comedy is a must-watch! If Avatar is a 5/5, Hello Ghost would also be 5/5!
Found what you can do for the weekend? Watch HELLO GHOST! =D

BA BO: 4 Stars
He is not stupid, just too kind to let people know. He is not stupid, just someone who chooses to smile every time instead. He is not stupid, he understands every single word you say. He is not stupid, he changes everyone around him.
BA BO, which means stupid in Korean, is a 2008 film that stirs the heart and definitely worth that 1h 30min of your time! My suggestion to you - Just prepare a lot of tissue and enjoy the show!

Universal Studio Singapore
Universal Studio Singapore is a DIE-DIE-MUST-GO for all fellow Singaporeans and tourists 'coz honestly speaking, Singapore doesn't have much exciting places to explore.
Best time to go is of course a weekday to save you the time queuing for the rides! In fact, i still had to queue approximately 20 - 40min per ride when i visited USS on a non-school holiday weekday! Go early in case the tickets are sold out. If possible, book them online so that you can actually just enter without having to queue at the ticket counter for tickets! You won't believe how packed it can be!
Their lockers charge like loansharks - $10/day. So, keep it light to save on extra expenses - Disposable water bottle (they have water coolers too so this is optional unless you have kids), Cash (for some souvenirs), Camera-phone with ziplock bag (to take photos and to keep it waterproof for water rides).
Recommended attire would be perhaps tank tops and shorts (for ladies) and berms and t-shirt (for men). Oh, don't forget your pockets! You need them to keep your stuffs.
Most rides don't allow you to bring your water bottle so you can place/hide it on top of the lockers nearby (save $$$). Some rides have shelves that you can keep them temporarily before riding!
Remember to grab a Studio Guide before you set off running for the rides!
MADAGASCAR
A Crate Adventure - entertaining and relaxing (totally great as a rest-ride after those crazy roller coasters). Prepare to get a little wet!
FAR FAR AWAY
Shrek 4-D Adventure - You cannot miss this 'coz it's way better than 3-D, duh!
Grab a bottle of potion at the Fairy Godmother's Juice Bar as souvenirs if you want - children won't find excuses when you make them drink PLAIN water anymore! (Not cheap though... a bottle of it costs around S$17!)
THE LOST WORLD
Jurassic Park Rapids (MUST GO!) - no chance of getting on due to its popularity! GO RIDE IT! (Waiting time of a non school holiday, weekday: 40 - 70min)
Canopy Flyer - Omg, it isn't baby ride! Though it's nothing comparable to Battlestar. Well, it's a test-ride... If your child can't take this, forget about Battlestar/Revenge of the Mummy!
ENCIENT EGYPT
Revenge of the Mummy (MUST GO!) - Personally, i do find this way scarier than Battlestar 'coz it's total darkness! *trembles* Prepare to go gaga!
SCI-FI CITY
Battlestar Galactica: CYLON (MUST GO!) - No worries! Even a young girl sat on it twice so it isn't that scary! Don't let rumour haunt you! You got to try this and let this machine swing you 360-degree! SHIOOOOOK!
Battlestar Galactica: HUMAN (MUST GO!) - Fun, Fun, FUN!!
NEW YORK
Lights, Camera, Action! - Families with toddlers are not advised to enter 'coz i caught one crying away even before the actual thing starts!
HOLLYWOOD
Monster Rock - A Rock N Roll live performance with fantastic casts incorporating uniquely Singapore style that can't be found elsewhere! Got to catch it if you belong to the "families with small kids" catergory!
Visit The Brown Derby store that has fun silly hats hanging outside and take plenty of EPIC (epic pictures)! You won't miss it 'coz people love it!
USS closes around 7-8pm just nice for dinner! Hotel Michael's Palio serves really fresh seafood pastas and pizzas which are totally VALUE FOR MOOLAH! Fine dining restaurant which serves freshly baked bread -smells and tastes heavenly! *MELTS*
Save some stomach for some ice cream desserts before you go for the crane dance (honestly speaking, the cranes ain't THAT awesome)
Total expenditure: S$240
2x Tickets S$120 (Got it cheaper from friends!)
1x Souvenir potion bottle S$17
Locker S$10
Dinner @ Palio S$70
2x Ice cream S$8 (after special "1-for-1" promo)
